These are two characters that I came-up with a couple of years ago. The one on the left (maskboy)
was created for EnterVoid, but I never used him.
The character on the right (Ashirei) was developed by me and a good friend of mine, we had this
idea for a comic and both wrotethe story and did the designs, but due too school schedules it
never worked out. I still really like these characters though, so I thought I'd draw them again.

I did a pitch for a company that wanted to promote cheese to kids.
It finally fell through and got cancelled, I still really like this lil fella though.

These are some designs for an unnamed project. I came up with and idea and wanted to
do some style experiments. I hope I can get the time to finish this sometime.
In short, it's about a kid who hacked into his life-pod thingy and can now turn into a
female superheroine. Something like that, but it will be clearer when it's all finished up.

Just something that popped into my head, never done a boyscout before.
Thought I'd try my hands at one, also inked the scoutleader, but due to time
restrictions I only coloured the scout. Maybe I'll finish up the leader someday.

I did my internship at the 'Playlogic Gamefactory' in Breda and had the privilege of working on
an actual videogame for PS3, xbox360 and PC. I did a whole bunch of character and prop
designs for the game. There were alot of style restrictions, everything had to look "chunky" and
excagerated and they had restrictions to the shapes and sizes.
My time at the studio really helped me alot, professionally and personally.
They have a bunch of really talented artists and I'm honoured to have worked with them.
U can buy the game and see my characters and such in full effect right now!

Promotional piece for a childrens book I'm working on with my wife.
She is writing the story and I'm illustrating offcourse.
Due too my exams this is slightly on hold, but we will definitely finish this one up after that.

I designed these characters for RedUrban, an advertising company who wanted 12 different characters
for a buddytest they were developing for Microsoft MSN messenger.
These designs were translated into 3D by Bardo Hoogendoorn and animated by Ward Veenstra.
You can check out the final product right here and do the online buddytest.

Just wanted to try my hand on an iconic character.
Also one of the first pieces where I started to use the squigly lines.

I've drawn this character a few years back for the first time and I wanted
to see if I've improved somewhat, so I redid the character.

A self portrait I did awhile back.
It's me as a Wacom hero, just for the fun of it.

A simple sketch I inked and coloured just for fun.

Het Proces, an advertising company from Rotterdam contacted me about some characters
they wanted for their new campagne they were doing. They asked me to design two characters who
embodied the two new scooters Peugeot were about to release. They had a certain style they had in mind
and this is what I came up with. The characters were printed as lifesized cardboard cut-outs and
where placed all through out Holland in various scootershops.
These are a bit older then most work on my website, but I still kinda like them.
